I believe we live in a world where increasingly interconnected forces are further unifying ourselves, our knowledge, our possessions, and our built environment. My interest in design lies in its ability to shape the human experience. By engaging a millennium of design precedence from the past; the present and the future should be an investigation of interdisciplinary exchanges- not as disparate approaches, but with the concurrent goal of creating a creative and sustainable future.
Trained as an architect at the University of Waterloo and TU Delft, I imagined graduation in August 2020 to be my magnum opus. I was wrong, but coming out of my education, I have gained a professional perspective into the AEC industry, in fintech, the energy sector, heritage preservation, and housing policy. I have worked on the world’s first hydrogen electric race car, and completed research in Addis Ababa.
I am passionate about flower arrangement and collecting straw purses. I am also a cat mom to a ginger Maine Coon rescue named Durian!
